Five Steps on How to use your LegalShield Plan

Step 1:

When you need an attorney’s assistance, call your Provider Law Firm’s toll-free number. Your membership cards include your Provider Law Firm’s contact information. Your cards are included in your member guide which will arrive by mail after your membership application is processed by the LegalShield Home Office.

Step 2:

The person answering your call at the Provider Law Firm will ask for your name and membership number which is located on your membership card. If you are calling for assistance before your member guide arrives by mail, simply explain that you are a new LegalShield member.

Step 3:

You will also be asked to briefly explain what type of legal concern you have. By providing these details, the Provider Law Firm will be able to select an attorney for you who knows the most about your legal question.

Step 4:

You will be asked for a contact number and an appropriate time when you can be reached. An experienced attorney will then return your call within 8 business hours.

Step 5:

Remember to call the provider Law Firm’s toll-free number if you need help with anything you think may be a legal problem.

Also, take time to review your member guide when it arrives. Fill out your Will questionnaire and mail it to your Provider Law Firm so they can begin the process of preparing your Will.
